Born and raised in the vibrant community of Brighton, Katie Mactier has deep roots in the Bayside area, influenced by her father’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to local business. Educated in Brighton, she developed a strong connection to the community that continues to guide her career.

Katie’s journey took an exciting turn when she received a cycling scholarship with the Australia Institute of Sport, where she dedicated herself to achieving her dream of becoming an Olympic cyclist. This experience not only honed her competitive edge but also instilled a strong sense of discipline and perseverance. In 2001 Katie won her first National Road Race title and she decided to try her luck on the track. This is where Katie would realise her potential and become a World Champion, Commonwealth Games Champion and Olympic Silver medallist. Katie is now a Cycling Victoria and Australia Hall of Fame member.

These attributes that enabled Katie to realise her dreams as an elite international athlete are what she now channels in her approach to Real Estate. Katie’s sunny disposition, combined with her relentless work ethic and single minded approach to deliver top level customer service are all part of a winning formula, that help foster excellent work relationships with both her clients and buyers.
