November Market Review
Santa has arrived early for our vendors with some incredible results in November.
As we head towards the Christmas holidays our focus is still firmly set on exceeding our vendors expectations. We were delighted to learn that we have sold more properties at 3 million plus than any other Brighton agent - an outstanding achievement with 13 sales above 3 million in 2013.
We have just been informed that James Buyer Advocates are not doing their annual awards this year, which is extremely disappointing as we were hoping to get consecutive “best agency” awards.
Some highlights of November included $2,378,000 for a property adjoining the highway in Carr Street Brighton East which we sold under the hammer, 2 pre-auction sales in Rothesay Avenue Brighton and Esplanade Avenue Brighton which exceeded our expectations as well as some spirited auctions at 10 Collins Street Brighton, 4 bidders at $1,681,000 - $131,000 over reserve and 70 Comer Street Brighton East again spirited bidding and a result close to $2.8 million. We also sold a beach box and a couple of townhouses in East Brighton. Off-market was again strong in November with 2, $3 million plus sales in Dawson Avenue Brighton and St Ninians Court Brighton.
7 Auctions in December should again see a very strong finish to the year with a twilight auction at 4/211 Church Street, Brighton on December 12 at 6.30 pm.
Please note, whilst many agents fall asleep over January we will be focused on several off-market properties. Last year we had some outstanding buyers relocating or holidaying and transacted some great results. If you would like to register on our off market list for January contact us now and we will ensure your property gets the right buyers matched with it.
Thanks again for your amazing support Bayside – bring on 2014! In the meantime, need to sell some more homes.
